Don't worry. There's not much more to read I promise. I know you're sitting there with your acoustic guitar in hand, anxiously waiting to play. I'm glad that you are. However, I need to touch base on just a few aspects of Just Acoustic that may have changed if you've visited this page before. I'll make it short and sweet so that you can go about your business (hopefully you're playing guitar!)

Just Acoustic is an Online Song Lesson program.

Have You Visited Us Before?

If so, then I need to inform you of the many changes that are or will be taking place here in the near future. I think you'll love it!

• All future song lessons will be completely video-based as opposed to presenting tablature and textual explanation. We'll still be providing detailed explanation, play-along audio, and of course tablature, but the NEW focus here at Just Acoustic will be entire song studies on great acoustic songs. We will begin our new video-based lesson format on July 5, 2010.
  
  
• Previous song lessons are only provided for you to have something to work on while you wait for the new and improved, completely-video-based material to be provided at LEAST once a week. We will be revisiting the most popular songs in our directory with MUCH more explanation and adding high-quality video to them. In other words - when you are viewing the past lessons from our original Just Acoustic site, many of the video files have been removed. Technology is ever-changing and so are we, so we'll be adding much higher quality videos in the near future!
  
  
• We NO LONGER cover actual guitar lessons because they have caused a major distraction from the entire point of Just Acoustic. We're all about learning acoustic songs now. Nothing more. Nothing less.
  
  
• We're bringing back interesting features such as: the MTV Unplugged Series renditions, Artist of The Month, and the "Request Workshop" due to HIGH demand!

Q: I'm interested in joining, but how do I know if you have the songs I'm looking for?
A: Our current library of songs can be accessed here or by clicking on Artists A-Z at the top of this page. Remember that this site is mostly request-driven, so if you don't see a song in our library that you want to learn, simply ask us and we'll respond back to you.

Q: How often are new songs added?
A: This depends on the number of requests we receive. In the past we would provide a new song every few days. This is the plan for the present and future.

Q: What kind of music can I request? Is there a style that I have to stick with?
A: Absolutely not. We don't focus on one particular style of music. Anything and everything is permitted here at Just Acoustic. We've gotten requests for rap songs, polka, bluegrass, flamenco, jazz, christian, and even piano songs that we will transcribe for you to guitar!
