Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I'm interested in joining, but how do I know if you have the songs I'm looking for?
A: Our current library of songs can be accessed here or by clicking on Artists A-Z at the top of this page. Remember that this site is mostly request-driven, so if you don't see a song in our library that you want
to learn, simply ask us and we'll respond back to you.

Q: How often are new songs added?
A: This depends on the number of requests we receive. In the past we would provide a new song every
few days. This is the plan for the present and future.

Q: What kind of music can I request? Is there a style that I have to stick with?
A: Absolutely not. We don't focus on one particular style of music. Anything and everything is permitted
here at Just Acoustic. We've gotten requests for rap songs, polka, bluegrass, flamenco, jazz, christian,
and even piano songs that we will transcribe for you to guitar!

Beyond The FAQ's

In addition to the many questions we receive, we also want to touch base on a few things:

1. We have a growing variety of all-acoustic song selections: Without slamming any of those other
courses you might have tried before (there ARE some good ones out there, but you're here for a reason,
right?) we would like to point out that it is quite rare that you'll find a site dedicated to songs that are
solely played on acoustic guitar. See, that is what makes us different.

It's all we do. No more. No less. While we do offer song selections from the famed 'MTV Unplugged' series as well as songs that were originally played on electric, transcribed to acoustic, never once do
you need to plugin a guitar or tweak any effects for a song here at JustAcoustic.com. You'll learn
songs from artists such as James Taylor, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, Alice In Chains, and even
classical artists such as Bach, Sor, Chet Atkins, Peppino D'Agostino, and many more!

2. We have an easy-to-navigate member interface: You won't be in wonder as to where to start
because every link is clearly presented on each and every page that you visit.

Spend less time clicking around and searching for a song lesson and spend more time actually
playing guitar! We don't even need a 'search' function due to our amazing design!
(How often do those REALLY work anyway?)

3. We literally operate on requests: You won't just learn songs that we think you should learn.
After all, the whole point in finding a website that offers acoustic song lessons is so that you can find
that certain song you've been desperately searching for.

Our 'Request Workshop' allows you to learn songs that you might not have even heard before.
Believe me - I've gotten requests that took DAYS to research and transcribe for fellow members.

4. We are now offering the 'Refer-a-Friend' option: You won't believe what you are about to read!
We are currently the ONLY acoustic song lesson site on the market that will actually PAY you to refer
a friend over. What's even more amazing is that you don't even have to join some confusing and
complex affiliate program!

As a paid member, all you have to do is tell a friend about Just Acoustic. If he or she joins our program, you'll get paid $5.00* for every person you refer that joins. There is NO LIMIT to the
amount of money you'll receive.

5. We offer FULL-VERSION tutorials from our sister sites as a paid member: So let's say you're just
not in the mood to play an acoustic song one day. It happens. Sometimes you want a change.
Sometimes you DO want to plug that guitar in. The good news is that we actually offer full version
tutorials from our sister sites. You can see that they are linked on the left of this page.

You'll learn additional material such as strumming/singing lessons, beginner-intermediate
music theory lessons
for the 'thinking' guitarist, scale patterns/lead guitar techniques,
fingerstyle lessons
allowing you to move beyond standard acoustic guitar playing, electric
guitar riffs
